Hi! I’m Karina. An artist based in Vancouver, BC. Art has always been where I find joy, expression, and connection. My love of animals runs just as deep — pets are family, and I believe each one deserves to be celebrated.
When I paint, I focus on light, color, and personality — those little details that make each pet and moment unforgettable.

My Process
Each portrait is a journey from reference photos to finished artwork, crafted with care and attention to detail.
Consultation
We discuss your vision, choose reference photos, and determine the perfect size and composition for your portrait.
Sketching
I create a detailed pencil sketch, capturing the pose, expression, and proportions before beginning the painting.
Painting
Using traditional watercolor techniques, I build up layers of transparent washes to create depth, texture, and luminosity.
